Some of the software are distributed under the terms of GPL. Please refer to the README or COPYING file in the package or the header in the file.

Ruby

csv2gnuplot (usable): Converts CSV into tab delimited files to be read by gnuplot.
ruby-optics (usable): Small scripts in Ruby to calculate optical parameters of Cassegrain telescopes and gratings.
ruby-sphere (0.5.0): a set of libraries and user interfaces written in Ruby to calculate apparent positions of stars with a moderate accuracy. Its goal is to provide an easy way to plan astronomical observations.
fits (usable): add-on for fits.rb included in narray to use information in the FITS header.
fit-files-in-cdr (usable): copies files into different directories with limited size. Use this to prepare directories to be burned into CD-Rs.
mollweide.rb (usable): maps spherical coodinates (longitude, latitude) onto an ellipse through Mollweide Projection.

bbfit (2.0.0): calculate Planck function and fits plain-text data with a black body.
tsc-status (1.14.4): handles status from Subaru Telescope
wcskill (0.4.3): removes WCS or data section related header cars and extension HDUs from FITS files.
shmtst (usable): speed of shm_open(3) and ftruncate(3) measured on Linux 2.6.12 and SunOS 5.8
lenscalc (0.9.8): paraxial optics calculations.
fibermeas (0.1.7): FITS handling tools to measure fiber transmittance and other utlities.
sv-guide-model (1.1.2): A model to validate algorithm for slit-viewer autoguide
astrospec (0.7.7): Data reduction software for ascii format spectral data
gauss-fit (0.1.1): Fit gaussian on a FITS image
