The Eastasian Meeting for Astronomy

We are constructing an infrared imager MIRTOS to evaluate and monitor the Japanese National Large Telescope 'Subaru.' The system consists of near- infrared and mid-infrared cameras. It captures seeing freezed images simultaneously in two bands and reconstruct diffraction-limited mid-infrared image. The system also has an emissivity mapper that images the telescope pupil and its surroundings. We are now in the first phase. The system, currently called pre-MIRTOS, has near-infrared two-wavelength imager and the emissivity mapper.
